The apparatus prevents safety accidents by detecting food weights, temperatures, and burner flames, and also automatically cooking the food by use of the detected food weights and exhaust gas temperatures. The apparatus comprises a cooling fan motor (5); a turn table motor (7); a magnetron (1); a gas burner (2); a flame detection rod (12); a flam controller switching on/off the gas burner (2) according to the flame detected from the rod (12); a food weight detection element (10) positioned under a heating chamber (4); a sensor (6) sensing the temperature of the exhaust gas generated from the heating chamber (4); a microprocessor (9) receiving and processing the signal from the rod (12) and the sensor (6).
