Tool comprises movable parts and moulded components which are produced at; (i) a tool filling and compression station; and (ii) a freezing or crosslinking station. The movable tool pats pass through both stations with either a linear or a circular arc movement. The movable tool parts are charged and unloaded at stations outside the forming tool. USE/ADVANTAGE - The tool can be used in mfr. of plastic components with an embedded pre-manufactured insert. Components without inserts can also be mfd.. Cycle time for the movable parts is reduced without reducing dwell time in the forming tool
