PURPOSE:To obtain a color separation plate for print superior in resolution, by preventing dots from appearing, by using a black-and-white monitor. CONSTITUTION:Television signal 4 is separated by decoder 5 into respective signals of red, green, blue and luminance, which are separately sent to black-and-white monitor 7 by switch circuit 6. Pictures projected by respective signals are picture- taken four times by camera 8 with loaded black-and-white film 9. Through this photographing, respective color separation plates of cyan, magenta, yellow and black can be obtained from respective signals. In another way, television signal 10 is decomposed into red, green and blue signals, which are sent to black-and-white monitor 13 via switch circuit 12. Then, pictures of respective signals are picture- taken by triple exposure with camera 15 loaded with a color film and equipped with respective filters of R, G and B to obtain a color picture. This is color-separated to generate separation plates. Thus, the black-and-white monitor is used, so that color separation plate board of good resolution without dots can be obtained. |
