The jig including a pneumatic cylinder, a spring wire and bending units automates the bending work of the component legs whose shapes are so different that the bending work has benn manually carried out. When a circuit board (13) set on the top of the jig body (1) presses a limit switch (3), the top support plate (2) is closed down over the board with a handle (17) so that support pieces (16) provided on the inner face of the plate (2) pressingly hold the tops of components mounted on the board (13). A switch is then pushed to move backward the shaft (5) of the pneumatic cylinder (4) for the spring wire (7) clamped in a drawer (6) fixed to the tip of the shaft to be drawn through a support holder (8) to draw the lower end of the bending piece (11) of each bending unit. Then, the spring wire being drawn bends the legs of the components on the board by means of a bending member (12). The jig improves the productivity of the bending work.
