Disclosed are crosslinked protein crystals, characterised by the resistance against the exogenous proteolysis, so that the protein crystals keep at least 91 % of their original activity after the incubation during 3 hours under the presence of PronaseTM in concentration, initiating at the soluble protein the loss of at least 94 % of their original activity, or they have from 50 to 90 % of the catalytic activity of the soluble protein, or they have the half-time of the activity, which is more than 100 times than at the soluble protein, or they have a stability in the mixed, of 50 % volume aqueous-organic solvent, so that the crosslinked protein crystals keeps at least 40 % of their original activity after the incubation in the said solvent during at least one hour, or have improved profile of the activity pH in comparing with the soluble non-crosslinked protein form, or have better stability under the temperature from 55 to 65 C than soluble non-crosslinked protein form. Disclosed is also device containing them and their use.
