Isoxazole compound represented by general formula (1), pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, and medicinal use thereof; wherein R represents hydrogen or lower alkoxy, and R1 represents a group represented by general formula (2) wherein A represents NH or O, B represents CH2 or CO, m represents 0 or 1, n represents an integer of 1 to 12, X represents H, OH or lower alkoxycarbonyl, and Y represents H or Ph which may be halogenated; a group represented by general formula (3) Wherein Z represents pyrimidinyl; or a group represented by general formula (4) wherein R2 represents styryl which may be hydroxylated.
