This invention relates to a filament bundling method and an apparatus therefor for bundling hollow filaments consisting of a large number of fibrous materials, particularly hollow filament bundles having a wall film having permselectivity, which comprises contracting cylindrically portion of a running belt means to hold the filaments, moving the filaments in this state together with the belt means by a predetermined distance and releasing the filaments held by the belt means. The invention relates also to a filament bundle loading method and an apparatus therefor for use when the filament bundle member is loaded into a cylindrical container, which comprises the steps of fitting a cylindrical member equipped at one of the ends thereof with an annular portion, whose diameter increases towards its tip, into the cylindrical container, loading the filament bundle member into the cylindrical container from the side of said end in such a manner that the end portion of the filament bundle member projects to the opposite side of the cylindrical container, and withdrawing the cylindrical member towards said end side while the filament bundle member is kept loaded in the cylindrical container, with said projection end and said cylindrical container held together. |
