Each computer (1 to 6) of the data network includes a first (1b to 6b) and a second bidirectional communication interface (1c to 6c) and the means for interlinking these computers include segments (13 to 18) each having a first end connected exclusively to the first interface (1b to 6b) of one of the computers (1 to 6) and a second end connected exclusively to the second interface (1c to 6c) of another of these computers (1 to 6). This arrangement enables any of the computers (1 to 6) of the network to transmit data to any one of the other computers (1 to 6) even if the link between two of these latter is broken. The method of transmission of data via this network includes the formulating by one of the computers of a message containing instructions, each of which is intended for one of the other computers. This method is faster than the known methods. <IMAGE>
