<p>PURPOSE:To perform the control with a sales data processor so that only the batch approval is carried out right before the registration of a single transaction is completed even if plural times of approval are usually required within a single transaction. CONSTITUTION:The flags showing whether the manager overrides are required for each type or not are stored in a PLU(price look-up) file 17-1 and a transaction-group file 17-2 respectively. A CPU 11 refers to both files 17-1 and 17-2 for each registering operation and instructs a flag register 17-3 to turn on a manager override bit if a type requiring the manager override is confirmed. Then the CPU 11 gives a request to the file 17-1 for the manager override after a sum-up state is inputted and as long as the manager override bit is turned on. Thus the CPU 11 allows the sum-up processing after the approved data are inputted by a manager.</p> |
