<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate artificial error in the case of time setting and to improve the safety of a computer system by automatically calling time signal service according to the command of a computer and analyzing voice signals from a telephone line. CONSTITUTION:An interface part 1 receives command code data transmitted from a computer 3 and transmits the data to a command judging part 4. According to this command code, the command judging part 4 applies a control command to a network control unit (NCU) 5. When the control command is received from the command judging part 4, the NCU 5 executes a dial operation to a designated phone number. When the time signal service is called and the line is connected, the voice signals of the time signal service flow and are inputted to a time signal analysis part 6. The time signal service is executed by human voices and call originating tones per second and only the call originating tones per second are extracted and analyzed. The time signal analysis part 6 extracts a timing signal at every unit time and transmits a time signal code to the computer 3.</p> |
