PURPOSE: To house a keyboard in a compact enclosure by making the keyboard foldable. CONSTITUTION: A keyboard assembly 90 is composed of split sections 91 and 92. The parts 91 and 92 are coupled together so that the parts 91 and 92 can be pivotally expanded around a common axis, inserted between housings 12 and 14 in a folded state, and partially protruded from the side edge section of an enclosure from the housing positions. The size of the keyboard assembly 90 is decided so that the assembly 90 can be housed completely in the enclosure when the assembly 90 is folded.
