<p>PURPOSE:To execute a reverse orthogonal transform at a high speed, with regard to the reverse orthogonal transforming system for a transforming coefficient of image data subjected to orthogonal transform. CONSTITUTION:This system executes a one-dimensional reverse orthogonal transform in order to execute a two-dimensional reverse orthogonal transform with respect to a transforming coefficient obtained by executing a two-dimensional orthogonal transform to a block consisting of NXN pieces of picture elements, and is constituted by providing a transforming coefficient holding part 1 for holding a decoded transforming coefficient, a transforming constant holding part 3 for holding a transforming constant, a zero detecting part 2 for detecting whether the transforming coefficient whose value is zero is contained in every continuous M lines or not, in a column of a matrix of N rows and N columns of the transforming coefficient, a one-dimensional reverse orthogonal transforming part 4 for inputting the transforming coefficient and the transforming constant, and executing their one-dimensional reverse orthogonal transform, a transposing buffer part 6 for storing L pieces of transform results by one address with respect to a reverse orthogonal transform result, and a coefficient selection control part 5 for executing a transforming coefficient input and a transforming constant input to the one-dimensional reverse orthogonal transforming part 4, and control for storing the one-dimensional reverse orthogonal transform result in the transposing buffer 6.</p> |
