PURPOSE:To prevent an excess correction of a trapezoidal distortion correction and to reduce loss of a horizontal output transistor. CONSTITUTION:In the horizontal deflecting circuit of a diode modulator system for connecting a horizontal output transistor TR2 to both ends of a series circuit consisting of a horizontal deflecting coil LDY, an S-shaped correction capacitor Cs, capacitors C1 and C2, and damper diodes D1, D2, and applying a DC power supply voltage E through a primary winding of a flyback transformer T2, a pulse outputted from a drive transistor TR1 is inputted through a transistor TR3 to a connecting point of the damper diodes D1, D2 and the capacitors C1, C2. In such a way, the capacitor C2 is short-circuited only in a scanning period. |
