PURPOSE:To reduce the burden on an operator by automatically setting an equal line feed pitch in order to print a document only by setting an equal line feed processing area, and unnecessitating setting a format at the time of changing the line feed pitch in the middle of the document. CONSTITUTION:The start code and end code of the set equal line feed processing area are detected (S1 and 2), the length of the line feed direction of the set equal line feed processing area and the valid processing number of lines in the equal line feed processing area are searched by the start code and the end code (S3 and 4), the equal line feed pitch is calculated based on this (S5), and the equal line feed processing area is printed by equally dividing it into the valid processing number of lines. |
