IMAGE FORMING DEVICE HAVING FUNCTION REDUNDANT SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To provide an image forming device with the function which can be substituted for the specified function of the device by incorporating a function redundant system in the device. CONSTITUTION:A function redundant inference part 8 expresses the device (image forming part 1) in a state where it includes a function by using an FBS diagram (diagram consisting of function, behavior and state) and stores it. The function which can be substituted for the specified function is retrieved based on the FBS diagram stored as necessary such as the case that a fault is caused or the case that specified parts are stopped. By using the substitute function retrieved, the device is operated again.
