<p>PURPOSE:To reduce a delay time when there are many nodes transmitting cells and to improve a throughput when there are few nodes by transmitting the cells only for the nodes transmitting reset cells via a window having a larger size than the previous windows. CONSTITUTION:When a window 102 receives the reception notification of a reset cell from a signal line 110, a window size is set and the window closes after it transmits the cell. A state control circuit 101 outputs a reset transmission request signal 119 and receives a reset cell transmission notification from a cell transmission transfer circuit 506 when the both of windows 102 and 103 are off. In the window 103, a window size which is larger than the window 102 is set when the signal 119 is outputted and a cell for the window size is transmitted after a cell transmission notification is received. Thus, a delay time can be reduced also when the cells to be transmitted by all the nodes exist and a throughput can be improved when the transmission cell only for one node exists.</p> |
