PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily select an optimum communication means in composite function communication equipment. SOLUTION: When a communication path selection mode is selected, a list of a communication means usable by a device of a sender is prepared (P2), or a list of a communication means usable by a device of a transmission destination is obtained (P5). Based on the two lists, usable communication means selection list is prepared (P6) and a communication path is displayed on an LCD display panel (P7). A user selects a communication path on the LCD display panel and when the communication means is confirmed (P8) and the communication means is a FAX together with the confirmed communication path, FAX transmission is conducted and when the selected and confirmed communication path and the communication means are an electronic mail, electronic mail transmission is conducted (P9, P10, P11). |
