PURPOSE:To register the coupons regardless of the registering order and to prevent such a defective case where the different numbers of coupons to be effective are obtained. CONSTITUTION:A commodity data processor is provided with a PLU(price look-up) file 31, a coupon file 32 which stores the coupon codes, the family codes, the discount amounts, the number of satisfied commodities, and other coupon satisfying conditions, a coupon item buffer 33 which stores the family code (the code showing a specific coupon to be validated) of the registered commodity and the number of registered commodities, and a coupon processed item buffer 34 which stores the family codes of the commodities already decided as the coupon subjects, the family codes of PLU, end the number of satisfied commodities. Then a fact whether the commodities to be discounted are contained in the buffer 34 or not is searched when the coupons are registered. |
