PURPOSE:To obtain a magnetic laminated body whose magnetoresistance change rate is large by a method wherein magnetic thin films whose composition is an Ni-Fe alloy, an Ni-Co alloy or an Ni-Fe-Co alloy and Ag thin films as nonmagnetic intermediate layers are laminated alternately. CONSTITUTION:In a magnetic laminated body, magnetic thin films whose composition is NixM1-x [where M represents Fe or Co and (x) satisfies a relationship of 0<x<1] and Ag thin films are laminated. It is provided with an easy axis of magnetization inside a face, and its squareness ratio inside the face is 0.5 or lower. In the magnetic laminated body, the magnetic thin films having a thickness of 4 to 20Angstrom and the Ag thin films having a thickness of 2 to 60Angstrom are laminated by a molecular-beam epitaxial method, and it displays antimagnetism. Thereby, it is possible to obtain a large magnetoresistance change by means of a low magnetic field. |
