PURPOSE:To obtain push-pull signals having similar characteristics with the magneto-optical disk of a continuous servo system in both the preformat area where pits are disposed on lands and the recording area where the pits are not disposed on the lands. CONSTITUTION:The depth of guide grooves G is set at about (lambda/16) to (3lambda/16) of the wavelength of reproducing light and the depth of the pits P is selected at about (5lambda/16) to (lambda/2). The specified push-pull signals are then obtd. regardless of the presence or absence of the pits P and the duty ratios of the pits P. |
