PURPOSE:To suppress picture transmission during the adjustment of a camera. CONSTITUTION:A camera 32 picks up an image of an original on an original platen 30. An original sensing circuit 34 senses an original on the original platen 30 and outputs an original sensing signal to a camera control circuit 38. The camera control circuit 38 controls the zooming and the focusing of the camera 32 in response to a camera control signal. After the reception of the original sensing signal and after a lapse of a prescribed time from the end of the control of the camera 32, the camera control circuit 38 gives a switching control signal to an input picture changeover circuit 36. The input picture changeover circuit 36 selects an output of the camera 32 in response to the switching control signal and gives the output to a coding and transmission circuit 40. |
