<p>PURPOSE:To provide a player in which a magazine is ejected by an opening/ closing operation of a cover without requiring a push down operation of an eject button. CONSTITUTION:In the case the sliding cover 20 is mounted on a main device 10 of player, a switching stroke S is provided along a moving locus of the cover 20 so that the eject mechanism is switched on when the cover 20 comes up to the fully opened position. Meanwhile, when the cover 20 is opened up to the position shown by the solid line, a click mechanism can also be provided to hold the cover 20 in that position. Also for a front opening cover, the switching stroke is similarly provided along the rotating direction of the cover. When the cover 20 is moved to the fully opened position in the case of magazine replacement, etc., the eject mechanism is switched on and the magazine is automatically ejected from a magazine housing space 17. In the half opened state, the class of housed magazine is discriminated but it is never ejected. Since the magazine is discriminated and ejected by only the opening/closing operation, the convenient player is obtained.</p> |
