<p>PURPOSE:To improve the cell abort characteristic of a common share medium type communication network. CONSTITUTION:The equipment is provided with an abort priority analysis means 205 analyzing information relating to the abort priority of a cell arrived from an upperstream node, a transmission queue buffer 209 storing once a cell received from a terminal equipment accommodated by its own node or a relay line, a cell transmission enable control means 207 deciding the possibility of a cell from the transmission queue buffer 209 to a transmission medium, and a transmission queue cell abort control means 210 aborting selectively an optional cell in the transmission queue buffer 209 and has a function overwriting the relay cell as required with a cell requesting the transmission from its own node. Since the abort priority control taking the entire traffic of the node equipment connecting to the transmission medium into account is implemented, unexpected deterioration of the abort quality of a downstream cell with a high abort priority is prevented in advance.</p> |
