<p>PURPOSE:The titled composition having extremely improved redispersibility, keeping uniform opacifying power, and improved stability with time, obtained by treating pigment having polar surface with a phosphoric ester to carry out surface treatment, blending the treated pigment as pigment with a solvent, resin, etc. CONSTITUTION:Pigment such as titanium dioxide, etc. having polar surface is subjected to surface treatment with a phosphoric ester (e.g., dimethacryloylpolyoxyethylene acidic phosphoric ester, etc.), this treated pigment is used as pigment, usually blended with an organic solvent such as ethanol, etc., resin, etc., to give the desired composition.
