<p>PURPOSE:To detect the illicit operations of a coin selector. CONSTITUTION:A control part 20 decides the material and the diameter of a coin 9 through a magnetic sensor 13 with the corresponding identification signals and checks the genuineness of the coin 9. If the genuineness of the coin 9 is confirmed, a solenoid 17 is actuated so that a changeover plate 15 is retreated and the coin 9 is led to 8 path 11. The path 11 is provided with a photoelectric sensor 14 which detects each passing coin 9 and transmits the detection signal to the pert 20. Both identification and detection signals are counted by an up-counter 21 and 8 down-counter 22 via the part 20. The part 20 always monitors the sum of count values of both counters 21 and 22 and outputs the error signals to a display part 23 and a main body part 18 when the sum of count values of both counters exceeds a prescribed level.</p> |
