PURPOSE:To provide a medium having high durability for contact.start.stop (C.S.S.) without changing a thickness of a lubricant applied on the surface, even though the medium is kept for a long period under conditions of high temperature and high humidity. CONSTITUTION:The lubricant which is constituted of perfluoropolyether <=5000-30000 in the weight-average molecular weight, is applied on the surface of the magnetic recording medium which the roughness of the surface to be coated (Ra is measured by a contact type surface roughness meter) is 10-60A. |
