<p>PURPOSE: To provide one continuous strip of a magnetizable material on a card and to obtain a reader which judges the presence/absence of a data area. CONSTITUTION: A card 10 is provided with a strip of a magnetizable material 20 and data areas 14, 15, and 16. The areas 14, 15, and 16 are separated from each other by blank areas 24 having no data. A data transferring system using this kind of card 10 is provided with a reader which ignores all magnetic signals of all blank areas 22 and 24.</p> |
