PURPOSE:To extend a service life of a CRT by preventing burning of a display device screen caused by a fixed image even at the time of any use state of the display device screen. CONSTITUTION:An image display area is set in advance on a display device screen, and in the case a continuous display time of one fixed image displayed in its area elapses by the time prescribed in advance (S-1), the image display area on the display device screen is moved in one direction (S-3), and updating of the screen is executed (S-4). As a result, a display position on the display device screen of the fixed image is moved. In such a way, one fixed image is not displayed continuously for the prescribed time or longer at the same position on the display device screen, and burning of the display device screen caused by the fixed image can be prevented. Moreover, since all display images become control objects, the burning of the display device screen caused by the fixed image can be prevented even at the time of any use state of the display device screen. |
