PURPOSE:To prevent an image defect due to the influence of a foreign matter such as paper powder mixed with a collected developer in a cleanerless process (development and cleaning system) while eliminating a sleeve ghost which is frequently generated in a single-component development system. CONSTITUTION:Toner T in a toner storage part 2 is supplied to a developing roller 6 through a toner conveyor roller 7 to visualize a latent image on a photosensitive drum 5. Toner T on the developing roller 6 which is not consumed for the development is carried to the toner carrier roller 7 associated with the rotation of the developing roller 6, and moved onto the toner carrier roller 7, which rotates to convey the toner to the side of a toner peeling member 8; and toner T sticking on the toner conveyor roller 7 is peeled off to specific effective length and collected in the toner storage part 2, and then used again for development together with other toner T. |
