PURPOSE:To provide a method of manufacturing a flex-rigid printed wiring board, where the unnecessary part of a rigid printed board is easily removed. CONSTITUTION:An unnecessary part 2 of a rigid printed board 1 corresponding to a cable section is punched out by a die, and the punched unnecessary part 2 is fitted into an original blanked hole, whereby zero slits with no cut widths are made in the sides 3 and 4 of the punched-out unnecessary part 2, an interlayer adhesive sheet 6 where a part corresponding to a cable part is punched out is put on an FPC 5, furthermore the rigid printed board 1 where zero slits are made is laid on the adhesive sheet 6, and a laminate concerned is joined together by thermocompression and subjected to a process where a hole is bored, a through-hole is plated, an outer circuit is formed, and an outer shape work is carried out. Thereafter, a laminate 8 joined to the punched- out part 3 is subjected to an outer shape work by a router or a punch, whereby the unnecessary part 2 of the rigid printed board 1 is removed from the laminate 8, and thus a flex-rigid printed wiring board can be obtained. |
