<p>A suction system for urban wastes and for recyclable materials comprising a motorized transport means (10) suitable to receive urban wastes and/or recyclable materials placed in a container (36) or left on the ground, wherein said transport means (10) is provided with a sucking tube (15, 17, 18, 23) which can be moved in order to suck and/or which can be inserted by means of actuators (20, 25) inside an opening (30) formed in an underground container (36), closing means (27) are provided for the opening (30), said means being provided with an opening (35) of predetermined size.
