This process of edging lycra is characterised in that starting with a known fabric by the name of solbron to which a piece of lycra tissue of the same size is sewn, the desired edging is provided to the two pieces under humidity conditions of approximately 70% and then both the fabrics are placed in a water bath at 100 degree C, as a result of which the solbron dissolves completely leaving the previously edged item intact. This invention has application mainly in the edging of womens' underclothing.
