The load dependent brake pressure control arrangement is for a goods vehicle. It has a pick-up device, consisting of a rod (25) to sense the changing distance between a sprung axle (2) and the vehicle frame. It has a potentiometer (26) and a control (19) for the adjustment of the braking pressure at the wheel brake (24) according to load. In the case where a lifting axle (6) is coupled to the vehicle axle (2) the signal to raise the lifting axle is also transmitted to the signal receiver (19) which affects the adjustment signal for the brake pressure. USE/ADVANTAGE - Goods vehicle brake pressure control system which provides compensation for the longer signal distance when the lifting axle is raised.
