The plastics (I) are prepd. by reacting (A) organic and/or modified organic polyisocyanate with (B) at least one higher mol. cpd. having 2 or more reactive H atoms, and opt. (C) low mol. chain lengthening agent and/or crosslinking agent in presence of (D) as blowing agent mixt. of (D1) at least one low boiling fluorinated or perfluorinated organic cpd. difficulty soluble or insol. in (A), (B) or (C) and (D2) at least one 6-12C isoalkane, (E) catalyst, and (F) auxilliaries and/or additives. USE/ADVANTAGE - Partic. prodn. of hard foams contg. urethane, and opt. isocyanurate gps. e.g. cellular elastomers in motor car industry for head rests, inner cladding, or exterior parts such as rear spoilers, also shoe soles, soft elastic, semihard or hard foams in motor car, aircraft, shipbuilding, furniture and sports article industries for upholstery materials, housings, ski cores etc. and partic. insulating materials for buildings and refrigeration.
