The shut-off body (8) is axially lifted off the valve seat (7). When the valve is partially open, the shut-off body may be pivoted wholly out of the tube axis (6), to open the valve completely. The lever system (9) consists of a support lever (11), hinged to the housing, a closing lever (12) hinged to the shut-off body, and a setting lever (13). On opening the valve the closing lever is limited by the setting lever so that the axial movement of the body can be converted into a pivotable movement. ADVANTAGE - Precise dosing of small volumes, valve can be opened/closed quickly.
