The coupling for the releasable connection of two strut profiles lying vertically on top of one another, with at least one longitudinal groove, has at least one abutment carried by the profile for a connecting bolt. The other strut carries a nut locked in position, which the bolt threads into. The abutment takes the form of a retaining wedge (30) in the longitudinal groove (11) of the first strut (10). ADVANTAGE - Requires no additional machining for connection and is thereby more user-friendly.
