Casement window with frame which opens inwards - has attached aluminium@ frame which supports double glazing panels

The casement window has a fixed frame made of wood and a hinged frame (16) which opens inwards. An adaptor frame (17) made from extruded aluminium sections is fastened to the hinged frame by screws (25) and supports the double glazing panes. The double glazing panes (29, 30) are attached to the adapter frame (17) with adhesive. An outer frame (2) made from extruded aluminium sections is clipped on to a rail (3) which is fastened by screws (4) to the fixed frame (1). USE - The method of supporting the double glazing panes can also be used for a glass facade for a wall.
