A cylindrical housing contains the spool together with the film roll, and on it a slot is provided through which the film can emerge from the housing. The photographic film has a fixed end, whereby the middle section of the fixed end projects in relation to both sections. On the middle section an opening is provided in which the claw can be brought into engagement, so that the fixed end is firmly located in the slot of the spool shaft. A forward running end is provided by means of which the film can be drawn through the slot in the housing, whereby the middle section of the forward running end is taken out in relation to the two side sections. The fixed end and the forward end are located complementary in relation to one another. USE/ADVANTAGE - A photographic film cartridge of reduced dimensions for use in a small modern camera.
