The radial piston pump is for use in a vehicle. It has delivery pistons (5) moving to-and-fro in bores (7) which deliver fluid under pressure through an outlet (17) in a cover (15) which closes each bore to an outlet chamber. It has a check valve for the outlet with a valve element which covers the outlet. The outlet (17) is so formed that the check valve opens as soon as the pressure of the delivered fluid rises slightly in relation to the pressure which prevails in the outlet chamber. USE/ADVANTAGE - Radial piston pump in vehicle in which pressure pulsations and the associated noise are reduced.
