Ground-working machine provided with a number of rotatable ground-working members which are mounted in a frame which extends transversely with respect to the direction of movement of the machine and which are able to rotate about upwardly directed axles. In the vicinity of one end of the frame part, there is at least one shield part which is able to interact with an outer ground-working member and is arranged pivotably with respect to the frame part. The shield part is connected to a pivot axle, which is arranged on the frame part in the intended direction of movement of the machine, by means of a bearing arm which is situated in front of the frame part. <IMAGE>
