<p>FERMENTATION ZONE MIXING AND HEATING APPARATUS A combined mixing and heating apparatus for an anaerobic fermentation zone which comprises means defining a substantially vertically extending conduit to heat the contents within the bounds of the conduit and means for moving the contents upwards through the conduit. The apparatus preferably also includes means capable of deflecting the contents that have been passed up through the conduit outwardly onto the surface of the general contents of said fermentation zone.</p> |
