A turntable (2) mfd. in one piece with an elastomeric cushion (2a) is rotated by the shaft (1a) of a motor (1) while the disc is held down by a clamp (3) in its holder (4) under a ball (5) and spring strip (6). Rubber pads (7) are fitted to the ends of coaxial projections (3a-3d) spaced and dimensioned so that only the central projection (3a) enters the hole in a compact disc (D), but the intermediate projection (3b) additionally engages in the hole of a larger disc. USE/ADVANTAGE - Compact discs and video discs can be centred, clamped and played back interchangeably in same appts.
