摘要 A sintered silicon nitride-based ceramic body, having a ceramic phase gradient distribution and produced from silicon nitride powder containing a magnesium, titanium, zirconium, hafnium and/or yttrium oxide mixture, is new. A sintered silicon nitride-based ceramic body consists of a pressed and sintered powder mixture of 85-98.5 wt.% silicon nitride and 1.5-15 wt.% of two or more of MgO, TiO2, ZrO2, HfO2 and Y2O3, the sintered body containing a ceramic phase with a gradient distribution in the direction towards the ceramic body surface.
