A decoction is made of 1.6-1.9% hyssop, 1-1.3% thyme, 0.5-0.65% coltsfoot, 0.7-1.0% marsh mallow, 0.5-0.65% ribwort, 0.25-0.34% lime and 46-52% distilled water for 5 mins. followed by standing for 6 hours and filtering. To the filtrate is added 38-44% brown sugar, 4-4.3% tincture of sundew, 0.35-0.45% essential oil of hyssop, 0.15-0.25% essential oil of peppermint and 0.15-0.25% essential oil of eucalyptus, with stirring until dissolved.
