PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To be excellent in installation stability, to need only small installation space and also smoothly perform alternate one way travel control by having two display windows and allowing a 1st display window to show one kind of a selected color signal between a stop signal color and a proceed signal color and a caution signal color. SOLUTION: This traffic signal for road works includes a 1st display window 1 and a 2nd display window 2. The 1st display window 1 selectively displays two kinds of signal colors. The two kinds of signal colors include either kind of a signal color selected between a stop signal color (red) and a proceed signal (green) and a caution signal color (yellow). The 2nd display window 2 shows signal colors that are not included in the 1st display window. According to the traffic signal for road works, three signal colors being the stop signal color, the proceed signal color and the caution signal color can be outputted by the two display windows of the 1st and 2nd display windows. Because of this, it is possible to smoothly perform alternate one way travel control on the road work site.
