The projectile comprises an explosive charge (4) in which an open cavity (2) is made and a metallic layer (3) is deposited on the surface of the cavity. A primer which includes a detonator (71) produces a detonation wave on demand, and a screen (5) modifies the shape of the detonation wave to make it toroidal. The screen is hollow and at least one component of the primer is inside the screen. The explosive is placed in a volume of revolution about the longitudinal axis (ZZ). The component inside the screen is the detonator. The primer also includes a capacity and a striker, which are also inside the screen. The detonator is of projected layer type.
