<p>The method is of the type consisting in transmitting in parallel over a specified number of low-rate channels (F1...F41) useful information symbols modulated in accordance with a differential modulation including a specified number of phase states. It consists in transmitting in parallel over the set of channels, useful symbol frames and reference symbol frames, while inserting a reference symbol frame between each useful frame and alternating (F1, F3, F5..F41) each reference symbol with a useful symbol (F2, F4...F40) in each reference symbol frame.
