The portable radio and telephone equipment includes: an antenna (103) for transmitting and receiving an electromagnetic wave; a housing (102) connected to the antenna, having a notch (101) therein; and an internal circuit, connected to the antenna (103) by way of the housing (102), for generating and receiving the electromagnetic wave.
