The two-component releasable connector comprises a displacement member(12a), a spring-loaded locking bolt(9d), and a spring catch (5d) engaging the bolt. A sleeve-shaped, captive release member the catch. The catch is thrust by a spring at right angles to the direction of movement of the bolt, while the bolt spring is coaxial to the bolt and displacement member.
