SEIZING INHIBITOR OF SCREW PART

PURPOSE:To obtain the subject chemical for preventing seizing of screw part to be used at high temperature for a long period of time, comprising metal (oxide) powder, a lubricant for preventing seizing containing a mineral oil, synthetic oil, etc., and a penetrant by blending these components in a specific range depending upon use temperature. CONSTITUTION:Metal powder and/or metal oxide powder consisting essentially of Cu or Mo having <=10mu particle diameter is blended with a lubricant for preventing seizing containing a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil having >=300 deg.C boiling point as an essential component and a penetrant in a blending ratio of 20-50wt.% lubricant for preventing seizing and 50-80wt.% penetrant determined depending upon the working temperature to give the objective seizing inhibitor preventing seizing of valve rod of valve and screw parts of tie bolt used under a high-temperature condition for a long period of time because the lubricant for preventing seizing is sufficiently penetrated into engaging gap of the screw parts and a lubricating thin film is formed.
